Information OldCam Handles

OldCam handles photos and app settings that you create while using the app. This can include the raw camera capture, the processed vintage image, photo metadata used inside playback mode, and your selected camera effect settings.

Camera Access

Camera permission is used to show the live viewfinder and capture photos when you press the shutter button. Camera frames are processed on device for the app's vintage effect. OldCam does not use camera access for background recording.

Photo Library Access

Photo library permission is used to save processed images to your native camera roll or selected gallery album. If you use playback or delete controls, OldCam may read or manage photos that were created by the app, depending on the permissions granted by your operating system.

On-Device Processing

Vintage processing, including blur, noise, color grading, pixel styling, and optional date stamp rendering, happens on your device. Photos are not sent to a remote server for processing.

Local Storage

OldCam may store a local index of captured images and preferences on your device so the in-app playback mode can show recent captures and preserve settings. You can remove app data by deleting photos from your gallery, using in-app delete controls where available, or uninstalling the app.

Data Sharing

OldCam does not sell, rent, or share your personal data. The app does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. Photos remain on your device unless you choose to share them through your phone's normal sharing features.

Children's Privacy

OldCam does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not use accounts, analytics, advertising, or server-side photo uploads, we do not knowingly receive child personal information through the app.

Permissions You Control

You can grant, deny, or revoke Camera and Photos permissions from your device Settings app at any time. Some features may stop working if required permissions are disabled.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when OldCam changes how it handles data or permissions. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
