What is OldCam?
OldCam is an iPhone camera app that makes your photos look like they were taken on a digital camera from the early 2000s: soft CCD-style color, sensor grain, a slight vignette and an amber date stamp burned into the corner. It has 11 camera bodies to choose from.
Is OldCam free?
Yes. OldCam is free to download and The Original camera is free to use with every setting. OldCam Pro unlocks the other 10 cameras for $9.99 a year (with a 3-day free trial) or $3.99 a month.
Does OldCam edit photos I already took?
Not yet. OldCam processes photos as you take them with its camera. Applying the look to photos from your library is planned.
Where are my photos saved?
Every photo is saved to your iPhone's camera roll and to an album called OldCam. You can also review them in the app's own gallery.
Can I turn off the date stamp?
Yes. Tap DATE on the camera to switch the amber date stamp on or off. The stamp shows the year of the camera you are using, such as '03 or '07.
Does OldCam record video?
Not yet. A camcorder mode with the same camera look and date stamp is coming soon.
How do I restore my OldCam Pro subscription?
Open the app, tap MENU, then OldCam Pro, and choose Restore purchases while signed in with the Apple ID you subscribed with.
How do I cancel OldCam Pro?
On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose OldCam Pro. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
Does OldCam upload my photos?
No. Photos are captured, processed and stored on your iPhone. OldCam has no accounts and no ads, and it does not track you.
How do I get featured on Instagram?
Post your photo on Instagram and tag @oldcam.vintage with #shotonoldcam. The Share button in OldCam copies a caption with the right tags for you.
